Basic Use is a 1/2 day morning or afternoon workshop
Beyond the Basics is a full day workshop


Use the Kurzweil 3000 Software to positively impact reading. The robust nature of the program takes a little getting used to. Once teachers see how they can manipulate the software to meet specific processing difficulties for struggling readers they embrace the program. With a little coaching, students can be taught to set up the program to meet their needs.

The half day program covers basic operations, scanning and using the program for a specific student. Teachers leave with a completed student profile.

Beyond the basics afternoon program covers some of the hands-on issues that teachers and aides run into in the classroom. Using a case study approach teachers can evaluate specific students needs and receive coaching to develop student profiles; libraries; and how to work effectively with typical classroom teachers.
